What is weld overlay cladding flange?
A weld overlay cladding flange is also known as cladding flange,it is a flange used of a weld overlay cladding technology process to build up the corrosion resistant alloy(CRA) layer.Instead of general welding which is joining two pieces of material together,weld overlay applies a corrosive resistant or hard facing layer onto the parent material.Weld overlay cladding can also be applied to other components ranging such as pipes,pipe fittings,valves,ring,fabrication and so on.And it is most commonly used within the oil and gas industry.
Manufacturing process of Weld Overlay Flange:
