DIN 2633 PN16 RF Stainless Steel Weld Neck Flange is a flange in which steel pipes, pipe fittings, etc. are inserted into the Stainless Steel Weld Neck Flange and connected to equipment or pipelines through fillet welds. The inner hole on one side of the Stainless Steel Weld Neck Flange is provided with a welding boss, and the welding boss is provided with an inner hole. The inner hole is connected to the inner hole in the center of the Stainless Steel Weld Neck Flange, and there is elasticity between the DIN 2633 PN16 RF Stainless Steel Weld Neck Flange and the welding boss.

The two top surfaces of the elastic ring are combined with the Stainless Steel Weld Neck Flange and the welding boss respectively. There are many screw holes on the Stainless Steel Weld Neck Flange. The screw holes are symmetrically distributed around the center of the Stainless Steel Weld Neck Flange. Let’s take a look at the precautions for using DIN 2633 PN16 stainless steel flanges.

  1. In order to prevent interocular corrosion of Stainless Steel Weld Neck Flange caused by heating, the welding current should not be too large, which is about 20% less than that of carbon steel electrodes. The arc should not be too long. The cooling speed is between the number of layers and the narrow weld bead has better effect.

  2. The electrode should be kept dry during use. The perovskite type needs to be dried at 150°C for 1 hour, and the low hydrogen type needs to be dried at 200-250°C for 1 hour (do not repeat drying multiple times, otherwise the coating will easily crack and peel off) to prevent the electrode coating from sticking to oil and other contamination, so as not to increase the number of welds Carbon content affects the quality of weldments.

  3. When Stainless Steel Weld Neck Flange pipe fittings, repeated heating will precipitate carbides, reducing corrosion resistance and mechanical properties.

  4. DIN 2633 PN16 RF Stainless Steel Weld Neck Flange with greater hardenability after welding of chromium stainless steel flange pipe fittings are prone to cracks. If the same kind of chromium stainless steel electrode is used for welding, it needs to be preheated to more than 300°C and slowly cooled to about 700°C after welding. If the weldment cannot be subjected to post-weld heat treatment, stainless steel flange pipe welding rods should be used.

  5. For stainless steel flanges, add appropriate amounts of stabilizing elements Ti, Nb, Mo, etc. to improve corrosion resistance and weldability. Weldability is better than chromium stainless steel flange. When using the same type of chromium stainless steel flange welding rod, it should be preheated to above 200°C and tempered around 800°C after welding. If the weldment cannot be heat treated, Stainless Steel Weld Neck Flange rods should be used.

  6. Stainless Steel Weld Neck Flange and butt welding flange electrodes have good corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, and are widely used in chemical, fertilizer, petroleum, and other industries.

DIN 2632 PN 10 Weld Neck Flanges are generally used in high pressure applications, where hot or cold temperatures exist. These steel DIN 2632 weld neck flanges are circumferentially welded into the system at its neck which means that the integrity of the butt welded area can be easily examined by radiography.
