There should be no cracks or other flange connection or strength reduction defects on the surface of the pipe fitting cap. Ultrasound inspection of pipe fitting cap shows that grade I is qualified product and grade II is required for radiation. If the pressure vessel pattern where the pipe fitting cap is located fails to meet the above requirements for the inspection of the vessel shell, it should be carried out according to the contract or the label in the pattern.
