        The carbon steel flanges pressure marks specified in this standard are divided into PN mark and class mark.
The PN mark has 12 pressure classesPn2.5; PN6; PN10; PN16; PN25; PN40; PN63; PN100; PN160; PN250; PN320; PN400
There are 6 pressure classes marked with class: Class 150; Class 300; Class 600; Class 900; Class 1500; Class 2500
Another layer of carbon steel flange means: flange produced according to the size and tolerance range required by national standards.
        Different from the flange not produced according to the standard size, it is also called secondary standard flange (some people call it non-standard flange is incorrect). Usually, some unscrupulous businesses will reduce the thickness and outer diameter of the flange to save materials, and process the flange with waste steel or leftover steel.
        Usually, this kind of steel is a waste material whose chemical composition and mechanical properties do not meet the standards. What's more, the private steelmaking of black steel plant is used to produce flanges. The steelmaking technology used in this private steelmaking is old and cannot ensure the mechanical properties and welding properties. It may not be welded with the steel pipe when in use, or the steel itself may leak after welding with cracks and pores. Therefore, carbon steel flange shall be far as possible when purchasing flange.
