1. In order to prevent the corrosion between the eyes of carbon steel tee due to heating, the welding current should not be too large, about 20% less than that of carbon steel tee electrode, the arc should not be too long, and the interlayer cooling should be fast, and the narrow welding pass is suitable.
2. Carbon steel tee after welding hardening is bigger, easy to produce cracks. If the same type of carbon steel tee is used for welding, it is necessary to conduct preheating above 300 ℃ and slow cooling treatment about 700 ℃ after welding. If the weldment cannot be post weld heat treated. Carbon steel tee welding rod shall be choose.
