  The basic technological process of carbon steel pipe fitting elbow is: firstly, a polygonal ring shell or a polygonal fan-shaped shell sealed at both ends is welded. After the pressure medium is filled inside, internal pressure is applied. Under the action of internal pressure, the cross section gradually turns from polygon to circle, and finally becomes a circular ring shell. According to the requirements, a circular ring shell can be cut into four 90 degree pipe fitting elbows or six 60 degree pipe fitting elbows or other specifications of pipe fitting elbows. This process is suitable for manufacturing any specification of large pipe fitting elbows with the ratio of pitch diameter to inner diameter greater than 1.5. It is an ideal method for manufacturing large carbon steel pipe fitting elbows at present.

  The advantages of the carbon steel pipe fitting elbow manufacturing process are mainly shown in the following aspects:

  1. Without using tube blank as raw material, the cost of tube making equipment and die can be saved, and the carbon steel elbow with arbitrary large diameter and relatively thin wall thickness can be obtained.

  2. The blank is flat or developable surface, so the blanking is simple, the precision is easy, and the assembly and welding are convenient.

  3. Because of the above two reasons, it can shorten the manufacturing cycle and greatly reduce the consumption cost. Because there is no need for any special equipment, it is especially suitable for processing large carbon steel elbow on site.
